Harvey Koh
Mr. Harvey Koh is a Senior Advisor to NCAP’s investment leadership team, providing guidance on how to derive impact-driven value creation strategies for its prospective portfolio companies. In addition to NCAP, he currently serves as a Senior Advisor to the Catalytic Capital Consortium (C3), Dalberg and FSG.
Mr. Koh brings over two decades of experience across impact investing & enterprise, strategy consulting, international development, market facilitation and venture philanthropy. He has worked extensively with funders, investors and entrepreneurs to develop and scale inclusive business models that benefit the poor. His experience spans the housing, water, healthcare, energy, vocational training, agrifood and livelihoods sectors, in South & Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas.
Mr. Koh has also led influential research to advance thinking and practice, from introducing the concept of the 'pioneer gap' in impact enterprise and investing in 2012, to more recent work on how we can help markets work in more equitable ways. His work has featured in publications such as the Stanford Social Innovation Review, and he is a regular speaker at leading conferences, universities and other institutions.
Mr. Koh sits on the trustee boards of EYElliance and Social Innovation Exchange (SIX).
Mr. Koh holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge.
